Jorge represents a variety of clients before the Florida Legislature, Executive Office of the Governor, Agency for Healthcare Administration, Florida Department of Health, Florida Public Service Commission, and other state regulatory agencies on matters related to healthcare, energy, telecommunications, professional licensure, public procurement and business regulation. Some of their high-profile recent clients include Anheuser Busch, Duke Energy and Uber. He previously served as Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Florida Public Service Commission, providing counsel on telecommunications, energy, water and wastewater-related issues, and spent over a decade in the insurance industry in the area of marketing, sales and management.
Melissa has been lobbying in Florida for 18+ years. She joined Floridian Partners in 2018 after serving as Vice President for the Florida Retail Federation and Georgia Retailers where she managed and lobbied in both states. Prior to that she served as Director of Government Affairs for the March of Dimes, the Florida Department of Community Affairs and Executive Assistant to Congressman Ed Whitfield (KY) in Washington DC. Melissa specializes in growth management, tax, building codes, affordable housing, pharmacy, retail and overall business issues.
